- Submit Valid Documents: Attach proof of DOB such as a passport, birth certificate, or government-issued ID.
- Biometric Verification: Provide biometric authentication to validate your identity.
- Receive Acknowledgement: A receipt with a 14-digit URN (Update Request Number) will be issued to track your request.
- Pay the Fee: A service charge of Rs 50 is applicable for the update.
- Processing Time: The update is usually processed within 90 days.
Online Update No Longer Available For DOB
Earlier, UIDAI allowed online updates for several fields, including DOB. However, currently, only address changes can be made online through the myAadhaar portal. All other updates—including name, gender, and date of birth—must be processed at enrolment centres.
