However, recently, fans caught a peek into this fresh beginning as Kapil posted a motivational video on Instagram. Walking on the idyllic hills while jogging, sporting a black jacket, light orange track trousers, and a cap, he seemed fresh and determined. With earphones plugged in and Imagine Dragons’ popular song Believer playing in the background, Kapil captioned the video, “Push harder, Nature has your back mountains #gratitude.” The post touched the hearts of his followers, with praise for his perseverance and optimism.

However, Kapil Sharma’s transformation is not a result of an overnight transformation, it is his dedication, consistency, and hard work that have been giving him gradual results. Kapil’s weight loss journey wasn’t just about his athletics,, but he got compelled into it for his overall well-being. Kapil decided to take his life in his hands and with the guidance of a trainer his trainer, Yogesh Bhatia, he followed a systematic workout routine and well planned diet.  His diet consisted of high-protein foods such as fish, lean meat, boiled vegetables, vitamin C-rich fruits, and complex carbohydrates — all designed according to his body type and fitness objectives.

His training sessions, which took almost two hours a day, included weight training, cardio, functional fitness, and even hydro workouts — an added feature that enabled him to train in water, building endurance and muscle strength. He also dabbled in kickboxing, which not only burned calories but also improved his stamina and agility. On or off the set, Kapil’s discipline was unbroken.

He will be reprising his role in the sequel of his 2015 debut film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. The first one, directed by Abbas-Mustan, featured Kapil handling multiple relationships in a hilarious romantic comedy. This time, the sequel, directed by director Anukalp Goswami, guarantees new chaos, a new plot, and an even more polished version of the actor.
