Similar to Nita Ambani, Mamta Dalal also discovered her passion for teaching children, although she has maintained a low profile. Mamta is the youngest sister of Nita Ambani. Interestingly, shortly after Nita Ambani married Mukesh Ambani, she began her career as a nursery teacher, a profession she found fulfilling.
It is to be noted that Mamta has chosen a more private life, dedicating herself to education and family. Despite staying out of the spotlight, she shares a close bond with her family, especially with Nita.
Mamta Dala was born to Ravindrabhai Dalal and Purnima Dalal. Speaking of the age gap, Mamta is four years younger than Nita Ambani. Like Nita, Mamta followed her passion for teaching and made a career out of nurturing young minds. Though she has kept a low profile, her dedication to education mirrors that of her sister’s contributions.
Currently, Mamta teaches primary school students at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School. In addition to being a teacher, she is also part of the school’s management committee. However, his elder sister Nita Ambani is the founder and chairperson of the school.
Mamta Dalal, the younger sister of Nita Ambani, holds a special place in the Ambani family as the maternal aunt (maasi) of Isha Ambani. Their close-knit relationship is evident through Mamta’s active participation in family events. Nita Ambani and her sister Mamta Dalal share a strong and supportive bond, often appearing together at various Ambani family events and grand celebrations, alongside their mother, Purnima Dalal.
Nita and Mamta also share a striking physical resemblance, with similar features that highlight their common family traits. In an interaction with Hindustan Times in 2013, Nita Ambani stated, “I share a strong bond with my sister Mamta. We were 11 girls – myself, my little sister Mamta, and nine cousin sisters. We were raised in a joint family. All of us were brought up to believe in the power of education and the critical need for equality and empowerment of women.”
Known for making education simpler and more accessible, she has not only tutored prominent figures such as Suhana Khan, daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, but also Sara and Arjun Tendulkar, children of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. In addition to her personalized tutoring, Mamta organizes workshops and camps designed to enhance students’ knowledge in a more efficient and engaging way.
