New Vande Bharat Train: The issue of running Vande Bharat trains on different routes was raised in the meeting of the Divisional Parliamentary Committee in Bhagalpur. Vande Bharat trains were demanded from Bhagalpur to Kolkata, Patna and Varanasi. Apart from this, a proposal was also made to stop the trains at many stations and to run Ang Express two days a week. A demand was also made to change the timing of Bhagalpur-Howrah Vande Bharat.
New Vande Bharat Train: The issue of running Vande Bharat on various routes was raised in the meeting of the Divisional Parliamentary Committee organized by Eastern Railway in Asansol. Deepak Khaitan participated in the meeting as the representative of MP Ajay Kumar Mandal. In the meeting, a demand was made to run Vande Bharat from Bhagalpur to Kolkata via Pirpainti.
There was a demand to run Vande Bharat between Bhagalpur to Patna, Bhagalpur to Varanasi. Apart from this, there was a demand to run two pairs of passenger trains (up and down) between Sealdah-Varanasi, Bhagalpur to Sahebganj. There was a demand to run Ang Express two days a week.

Demand for stoppage of train number 13413 Farakka Express and train number 13024 Gaya-Howrah Express at Ghogha railway station, train number 13429/13430 and 14003/14004 Malda Town-New Delhi Weekly Express at Kahalgaon station, train number 13404 Bhagalpur-Ranchi Vananchal Express and train number 13235 Sahebganj to Patna Intercity Express, Farakka Express and Brahmaputra Mail at Shivnarayanpur station, Intercity Express at Murarpur station, Malda-Patna Express, Brahmaputra Mail and weekly train at Pirpainti station, Vananchal and Gaya Howrah Express at Ekchari station, Danapur-Sahebganj Intercity Express at Sabour station, stoppage of express train at Lailakh station.
Demand for change in timing of Bhagalpur-Howrah Vande Bharat
In the meeting, a demand was made to change the timetable of Bhagalpur-Howrah Vande Bharat Express. It was said that if this train is run from Bhagalpur at 5:00 in the morning instead of 3:20 in the afternoon, then the traders can go to Howrah and do shopping and the patients of the area can consult the doctor and return from Howrah at night.
Air passengers will also be able to go to Kolkata and catch the flight or return from Kolkata. The return time of the train should be changed from 4 to 5 in the evening.
The meeting was chaired by MP Shatrughan Sinha. During this, the General Manager of Eastern Railway, Divisional Railway Managers of Malda Division and Asansol Division along with other senior officials of the railway and MPs were present.
