Auspicious Yoga
This year, on the day of Mohini Ekadashi, Bhadra Yoga is forming, which enhances the power of the vrat. Observing the fast and chanting during this yoga brings manifold spiritual merit.
Puja Vidhi
- On the day of Mohini Ekadashi, wake up during Brahma Muhurat and take a holy bath. After that, wear yellow clothes, remember Lord Vishnu, and begin the puja.
- Then, chant the mantra "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya". Offer the sixteen traditional items, Shodashopachara, including dhoop, lamp (deep), and naivedya. In the evening, perform deep daan.
- Offer yellow flowers and fruits to Lord Vishnu and seek forgiveness for any mistakes committed knowingly or unknowingly.
- In the evening, worship Lord Vishnu again, and spend the night singing bhajans and kirtans, resting on the floor.
- Next morning, take a bath again and invite Brahmins to offer them food and gifts as per your capacity. Finally, perform the Paaran.
