Madhya Pradesh: 67-Year-Old Man Dies In Gwalior Road Accident; ₹25K, Gold Chain Missing

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A tragic road accident claimed the life of a 67-year-old retired electricity department worker in Gwalior on Sunday afternoon. 

The incident occurred at the Ganeshpura Tiraha in the Murar police station area.

According to information, the victim has been identified as Sukhram Kushwaha. He was on his way to visit his brother-in-law Bhagwan Singh in Ganeshpura. He had planned to place an order for wheat for the entire year. 

Sukhram was riding a scooter, while his two sons, Laxman Singh and Mahesh Singh Kushwaha, were following him on a motorcycle.

Cash, gold chain found missing 

At Ganeshpura Tiraha, a container truck (registration number HR 55 AS 4862) coming from the Dabra side hit Sukhram's scooter from the wrong direction. Police Dial 100 team reached the spot quickly and rushed Sukhram to the hospital.

Unfortunately, the doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

His sons informed the police that Sukhram was carrying ₹25k in cash to buy wheat and was also wearing a gold chain. During the hospital examination, both the cash and chain were found missing.

Police have registered a case against the truck driver and are currently searching for him. Sukhram’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
