Bhopal: Wanted Criminal, Aides Fire Gunshots, Damages Vehicles To Create Terror, FIR Registered

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Notorious criminal Zuber Maulana and his aides fired shots and damaged some vehicles at Mangalwara and Tila Jamalpura areas early on Tuesday morning.

It is alleged that Zuber wanted to terrorize his rival and another criminal Saad Khan. Interestingly, Zuber is reported absconding in police records. An FIR has been registered in both cases and a hunt was on for Zuber and his aides, police officials said.

ACP Rakesh Baghel said Zuber Maulana has rivalry Saad Khan a with history sheeter at Mangalwara police station. His ancestral home is in Chhaoni area while he lives in Aishbag.

It has come to fore that Zuber and Saad had entered into an altercation on social media on Monday night and the duo issued threats to each other.

In the wee hours on Tuesday, Zuber and around half-a- dozen of his aides reached Chhaoni area on two wheelers and fired shots in the air and damaged some vehicles.

The miscreants then reached near the home of Saad’s brother-in-law Faisal at Indra Nagar in Tila Jamalpura area and fired some shots. Locals informed police that they rushed outside on hearing gunshots and found some persons fleeing the spot on mopeds and bikes.

A video is also viral on social media in which some persons covering their faces with cloth and brandishing pistols are seen fleeing on bikes.

Some eye witnesses identified one of the miscreants as Zuber Maulana, informed TI at Mangalwara police station Ajay Soni.

Two separate FIRs have been registered against Zuber and his aides at Mangalwara and Tila Jamalpura police stations. Efforts were underway to arrest Zuber and identify his aides, the TI added.

A resident of Aishbag, Zuber Maulana has around 25 cases registered against him. Police investigations reveal that Zuber and his gang are active on social media. Not only do they commit crimes but also regularly update their videos and photographs on social media to create terror and show their supremacy to their rivals.
