IT teacher conferred with state award
Sunaina, Information Technology teacher at PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School, Bhota, was conferred with the Best Teacher of the State award during a state-level conference held in Palampur, Kangra district, on Monday.
The conference, organised under the India-2025 initiative by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), focused on the role of skill development, financial inclusion and social entrepreneurship in nation-building. IT educators who demonstrated excellence in vocational education were recognised and Sunaina received the Best Vocational Trainer Award in the Information Technology category.
Speaking at the event, Sunaina expressed pride in the recognition, highlighting the growing importance of vocational training in empowering youth with industry-ready skills. Sanam, Principal of the school, praised Sunaina’s dedication, stating, “She has shown the path of progress to many students through vocational studies. Her students are not only securing good jobs but also launching their own ventures.”
