Maa Bhangayani fair concludes with cultural fervour

The district-level Maa Bhangayani fair concluded with grandeur and devotion at Haripurdhar, where Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Vinay Kumar presided over the closing ceremony. Addressing a large gathering, he extended his greetings and emphasised the importance of such traditional fairs in preserving the state’s cultural identity and promoting social harmony. He stated that fairs and festivals are not merely celebratory occasions but vibrant symbols of the region’s rich cultural heritage and serve as platforms for strengthening unity among communities.

Highlighting the significance of the event, Vinay Kumar said the fair is one of the most prominent annual gatherings in Haripurdhar and its adjoining areas and its popularity continues to rise each year. Reiterating the state government’s commitment to balanced and inclusive development, he assured the people that their developmental needs would be addressed with sincerity and resolve.

Responding to the longstanding demand for a bus stand in Haripurdhar, the Deputy Speaker instructed local residents and officials to identify appropriate land for the project. He also announced that a Civil Hospital would soon be established in Haripurdhar, which would greatly improve healthcare services for the town and nearby panchayats.

Earlier in the day, Vinay Kumar visited the sacred Maa Bhangayani Temple and offered prayers.
