Karnataka mining baron-MLA held guilty in Obulapuram case

A special CBI court in Hyderabad convicted Gali Janardhan Reddy and three others in the Obulapuram Mining Company illegal mining case, sentencing them to seven years imprisonment after a 13-year trial. BRS MLA Sabitha Indra Reddy and ex-industries secretary B Kripanandam were acquitted due to lack of evidence.
