GTA 6 Trailer 2 Teases Richer Story, Fresh Faces & Vice City Vibes: All We Know So Far
GTA 6 Trailer 2: Rockstar Games has just given fans a reason to rewatch the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer on loop. While the studio has reportedly pushed the release date to May 26, 2026, it has sweetened the wait with a new trailer teeming with character reveals and deeper story cues.
This fresh look at GTA 6 doesn’t just revisit the neon-drenched chaos of Vice City — it introduces a full cast of potential allies, enemies, and unpredictable rogues who may shape protagonist duo Jason and Lucia’s journey. Here’s a look at the key faces lighting up Rockstar’s crime-ridden sandbox.
Jason and Lucia: Partners in Crime — and Love
Leading the charge is Jason Duval, a former soldier turned hustler scraping by in the criminal underbelly of the Leonida Keys. “The only thing keeping him going is his love for Lucia,” Rockstar hints, as we see Jason working shady gigs under local dealers, including his landlord.
Lucia Caminos, the game’s co-lead, is introduced as she walks out of Leonida Penitentiary. She’s a fighter raised in a tough household, with roots tracing back to Liberty City. "We know her father taught Lucia how to fight from a young age," the game’s website notes, and it looks like she’s ready to take charge of her fate, with Jason riding shotgun.
Unlike the disconnected trio of GTA V, Jason and Lucia are portrayed with genuine affection for each other, adding emotional stakes to their high-risk escapades. Whether that bond helps them rise — or hastens their fall — remains to be seen.
Crime Lords, Hustlers, and Wild Cards
Among the supporting cast, Brian Heder stands out as Jason’s shady landlord who masks his drug ring with a boating business. Then there’s Cal Hampton, Jason’s pub pal, whose “casual paranoia” might inject a dose of conspiracy-fueled comedy into the narrative.

Vice City also welcomes Boobie Ike, a street-smart legend turned real estate and nightlife tycoon. His empire spans everything from strip clubs to music studios. Partnering with him is Dre’Quan Priest, a gangster with ambitions of infiltrating Vice City’s elite through a music label and his artist duo, Real Dimez.
Real Dimez — comprised of rappers Bae-Luxe and Roxy — are high school friends channelling street grit into chart success. Their track DWNPLY is already making waves under the Only Raw Records label.
Chaos Brews in the Shadows
No GTA game is complete without a seasoned criminal mastermind, and GTA 6 has Raul Bautista. A veteran bank robber, he’s known for pushing the limits of every heist, often leaving his crew scrambling to keep up. He might just be the wildcard Jason and Lucia need — or the threat that sinks them.

And then there are the nameless: gangsters, corrupt cops, influencers with too much money and not enough morals. As Rockstar keeps teasing, this world is teeming with characters who will either make you rich, get you killed, or both.
Rockstar hasn’t confirmed the voice cast yet, keeping fans guessing. But with storytelling this layered and characters this vivid, GTA 6 is shaping up to be more than just a crime sim — it’s a gritty, neon-soaked epic.
