J&K CM Omar Abdullah To Chair Emergency Cabinet Meeting As India Conducts Airstrike In PoK

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will chair an emergency cabinet meeting in Srinagar today at 11 a.m. The meeting is likely about the current situation in the Union Territory, especially in border areas, following recent military actions. As Pakistan attacked the civilian areas as they continue to violate the ceasefire.

Early Wednesday, Indian armed forces launched "Operation Sindoor", carrying out missile strikes on nine terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). These included the Jaish-e-Mohammad stronghold in Bahawalpur and the Lashkar-e-Taiba base in Muridke. The strikes are in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, which took 26 lives.
