Operation Sindoor: China makes shocking remarks on Indian air strikes on Pakistan terror targets, says…

In response to India’s early morning air strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir under Operation Sindoor, China has expressed concern and urged both nations to remain calm. A spokesperson from the Chinese Foreign Ministry Lin Jian said that Beijing finds the military action regrettable and is closely watching the situation. The statement emphasized that India and Pakistan are not just neighbors to each other, but also neighbors of China, and their stability is important to the region.

The spokesperson added, “China opposes all forms of terrorism,” but at the same time urged both countries to avoid actions that could increase tensions or worsen the conflict.

“China finds India’s military operation early this morning regrettable. We are concerned about the ongoing situation. India and Pakistan are and will always be each other’s neighbours. They’re both China’s neighbours as well. China opposes all forms of terrorism. We urge both sides to act in the larger interest of peace and stability, remain calm, exercise restraint and refrain from taking actions that may further complicate the situation,” Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian remarks on the ongoing situation between India and Pakistan

This comes as tensions rise after India struck nine terror-linked targets in response to a deadly attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, which killed 26 civilians. The Indian government has described its strikes as “measured and non-escalatory”, targeting only terrorist bases, not Pakistani military facilities.

In his talks with Dar, Wang stated that China is closely following the developments. He said that combating terrorism is a shared responsibility of the whole world, and China supports an impartial investigation as soon as possible, as the conflict does not serve the fundamental interests of either India or Pakistan, nor does it contribute to regional peace and stability.

“As an ironclad friend and an all-weather strategic cooperative partner, China fully understands Pakistan’s legitimate security concerns and supports Pakistan in safeguarding its sovereignty and security interests”, Wang said.
