The family members of Lt Vinay Narwal, who was killed in the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir on April 22, on Wednesday welcomed the Indian Air Force’s airstrike on nine terror targets across the border, calling it a strong and timely response.

Rajesh Narwal, father of Lt Vinay Narwal, said he had full faith in the government’s response and expressed satisfaction over the Operation Sindoor.

“I was always saying that I have faith in the government and what it was doing. Today, it has given a reply. I welcome the airstrikes on Pakistan by the government,” said Rajesh.

He maintained that while the lives lost in the Pahalgam terror attack, including his son’s, can never be brought back, but the action taken by the Indian forces sends a clear and powerful message to terrorists and they would not dare to do it again.

“Those who have left us in the terror attack will not return, but this airstrike will be a message to those involved in terror activities — they will now think twice before daring to attack again,” he said.

Asha, mother of Vinay, also welcomed the airstrike and said that they stand with Indian forces.
