Operation Sindoor: India targets POK, Punjab camps in precision strike after Pahalgam attack
India’s Operation Sindoor has sent a resounding message to terror havens in Pakistan and POK. Following the deadly Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian Air Force launched precision strikes targeting nine terror camps—five in POK (including Kotli, Memouna, and Bhimber) and four in Pakistan’s Punjab province (Sialkot, Muridke, Bahawalpur, and Murat). These camps belonged to terror outfits like Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen. The operation, backed by precise intelligence inputs verified twice, used advanced drones, Rafale jets, and satellite-guided munitions to avoid civilian zones and directly hit terrorist infrastructure. In Kotli, deep inside POK, Lashkar’s training facility was razed. In Memouna, where the Pathankot attack was planned, major terror hubs were dismantled. Bhimber, linked to Ajmal Kasab and David Headley, was also hit.In Bahawalpur, the Markaz Subhan Allah—a JeM center—where Masood Azhar’s relatives, including his brother Rauf Asghar’s wife and son, were reportedly present, was targeted. The mission highlights India’s strategic retaliation across Pakistan’s heartland despite repeated threats from Islamabad. With this, India has not only avenged multiple attacks—from Mumbai to Pahalgam—but has also exposed Pakistan’s continued patronage of terrorism on international platforms.
