MP May 7 Weather Update: Rain & Storm Will Remain Active Till May 10; Clouds, Strong Winds Likely In Bhopal, Indore
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The system of hailstorm, rain and storm will remain active in Madhya Pradesh for the next 4 days i.e. till 10 May. On Wednesday, there will be strong storm in Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Ujjain, while it may rain in Indore. Hailstorm may occur in 3 districts- Alirajpur, Dhar, Jhabua.
The districts where the weather will remain changed on Wednesday include Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, Mandla and Balaghat, where the wind speed may be more than 50 km per hour.
Sheopur, Morena, Ratlam, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Vidisha, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Betul, Sehore, Harda, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Khargone, Barwani, Dewas, Narsinghpur, Rewa, Mauganj, Sidhi, Singrauli, Shahdol, Anuppur and Dindori will also experience storm and rain.
Indore recorded 1 inch of rain
Earlier on Tuesday also, the period of strong storm, rain and thunder continued in the state. Indore received about one inch of rain. Heavy rain occurred in Indore for the third consecutive day.
Due to the changed weather, the day temperature dropped significantly. On Tuesday, there was not a single city where the day temperature reached 40°C or more. Narsinghpur and Khajuraho were the hottest. The temperature here was 39.4°C. Mandla recorded 39°C.

Talking about big cities, Ujjain recorded 32.5°C, Bhopal 34.6°C, Indore 32.4°C, Gwalior 35.4°C and Jabalpur 37.6 °C. Pachmarhi was the coldest. It recorded 32°C. Ratlam recorded 32.2°C, Guna 32.5°C and Shajapur recorded 32.7°C.
Weatherman said that the weather has changed in the entire state due to Western Disturbance, two cyclonic circulations and trough. It rained in many districts on Tuesday. Similar weather will prevail on Wednesday as well. An alert has been issued till May 10.
