Tushar Debnath – From Bashihart High School, Cooch Behar, secured 99.2% with 496 marks, ranked 2nd.

Rajarshi Adhikari – From Arambagh High School, Hooghly, scored 99% with 495 marks, placed 3rd.

A total of 72 candidates are in the prestigious Top 10 list of toppers.

Purba Medinipur has topped the charts in the West Bengal Higher Secondary Result 2025, achieving the highest district-wise pass percentage of 95.74%, making it the best-performing district this year.

Following the official report announced at the press conference, a total of 4,82,946 regular candidates were registered for WBCHSE Class 12 Uchha Madhyamik Exams 2025, of whom 4,73,919 students appeared during the exams.

This year, the overall pass percentage for the West Bengal Class 12 HS results is a whopping 90.79%. If divided by gender, male students have achieved a pass rate of 92.38%, whereas the pass percentage of female students is 88.18%.

As soon as the WBCHSE HS Result 2025 is declared, students will be able to download their provisional mark sheets from the online portal. These electronic scorecards will show important information like the name of the student, roll number, date of birth, and marks subject-wise. Students will have to subsequently pick up their original mark sheets and pass certificates from their respective schools when they are officially released.

Apart from the official website, the West Bengal Class 12 results can also be accessed through DigiLocker, a safe and secure digital repository of documents and verification. The results will be announced on May 7 at 12:30 PM, and the digital mark sheets from 2 PM onwards.

Once the results are declared, WBCHSE will initiate the process of application for re-evaluation and scrutiny by students wishing to have their answer scripts evaluated again. Additionally, details about supplementary exams for students who fail in one or two subjects will also be posted shortly on the official website of the board.
