NZ Cricket Monitoring Safety Of Players In IPL & PSL Amid India's Strikes Against Pak Terror Camps: Report
New Zealand Cricket (NZC) is closely monitoring the safety of its players who are playing in cricket league of both India and Pakistan. The Kiwi cricketers are currently taking part in Pakistan Super League and Indian Premier League and their safety has become cause of concern after India launched 'Operation Sindoor' on Pakistan following Pahalgam attack on May 7.
According to 11 news report, NZC issued a statement to 1News, saying: “NZ Cricket is aware of the relevant reports. We continue to assess the security environment for our players and coaching staff in all overseas environments to ensure they're in receipt of the most updated advice.
“This includes our national men's A team in Bangladesh, and New Zealanders involved in both the IPL and the PSL. These security assessments are current and ongoing.”

India unveils details about Operation Sindoor
India on Wednesday unveiled details of the terrorist camps situated in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), which were targeted during the Operation Sindoor to avenge the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. The videos of the precision strikes were released during a press briefing attended by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Indian Army Officer Sofiya Quresh and Indian Air Force (IAF) Wing Commander Vyomika Singh.
Addressing a Special briefing on the OperationSindoor, Colonel Qureshi said, "Markaz Subhan Allah, Bhawanpur, is located 100 kilometers away from the International Boundary. It was the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed. It was also a center for recruitment, training, and indoctrination."
"Top terrorists often visited here. I would like to inform you that no military base was targeted, and there have been no reports of any civilian casualties so far," she added.
