Operation Sindoor lasted for 25 mins in Pak & PoK, says PM Modi-led Govt following strikes in Pakistan

// Operation Sindoor: Prime Minister Narendra Moi-led government on Thursday shared details of Operation Sindoor, which was carried out between the intervening night of 6-7 by the Indian armed forces in Pakistan occupied Kashmir and Pakistan. Giving details about Operation Sindoor, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi said main focus of the operation was to deliver justice to victims’ families. She informed that the joint military operation targeting Pakistan and PoK lasted around 25 minutes with the strikes started at around 1.05 am and ended by 1.30 am. The media briefing was led by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, and Colonel Sofiya Qureshi.

As many as nine terror camps were targeted and “sucesfully destroyed.”

Col Qureshi informed that the nine terror camps destroyed during the operation were chosen based on intelligence inputs. “No military installation were targeted in the Indian strikes against terror,” she said.

Wing Commander Vyomika Singh said the Indian Armed Forces chose locations to avoid civilian infrastructure and damage to civilians.

Replying on the misinformation circulated by the neighbouring country on the deaths of civilians, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi stated that reports of civilian deaths in Pakistan are currently unfounded.
