'Ready To Strike, Trained To Win': Indian Army Releases Video Showcasing Preparedness Minutes Before Operation Sindoor
New Delhi: The Indian Armed Forces on Wednesday carried out 'Operation Sindoor' targeting terror launchpads in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) to avenge the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. Minutes before the precision strikes, the Indian Army posted a video on its X (formerly Twitter) handle with the caption "Ready to Strike, Trained to win."
The video showcased the preparedness of the Indian Army to thwart the enemy's aggression. Tanks, artillery and other weapons could be seen in the video. Notably, minutes after the attack, India launched 'Operation Sindoor' against terror launchpads across nine locations in Pakistan and PoK.
Indian Army's Video:
"A little while ago, the Indian Armed Forces launched ‘OPERATION SINDOOR’, hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed," the Ministry of Defence said in a press release after the precision strikes.
"Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in the selection of targets and method of execution," it added.
Notably, in the strike carried out at Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur, Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist group chief Masood Azhar's 10 family members were killed.
India also released videos of the terrorist launchpads destroyed during 'Operation Sindoor'.
Ties between India and Pakistan deteriorated following the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22 in which 26 people, mostly tourists, were killed.
India announced a series of punitive measures against Pakistan, including the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, the shutdown of the only operational land border crossing at Attari and the downgrading of diplomatic ties following the terror attack
