'Paagal Nahin Bola, Joker Bola': Rahul Vaidya Hits Back At Paparazzi Over Questioning Him For Calling Virat Kohli Fans Jokers; Watch Video

Former Indian Idol contestant and singer Rahul Vaidya hit back at paparazzi at the Mumbai Airport over questioning him for calling Virat Kohli's fans jokers. In a video surfaced on social media, Vaidya explained that he called them jokers for abusing him and his family.

Kohli, 36, was recently involved in a controversy as he liked Avneet Kaur's 'bold' photos on Instagram and clarified that it was due to an 'algorithm glitch'. Following that, Vaidya revealed that Kohli had blocked him on the social media platform and took a dig, saying that it also might have been due to an 'algorithm glitch', referring back to the controversy involving Avneet Kaur. Later, the 37-year-old singer called Kohli's fans jokers over abusing him.

In a video shared by Filmygyan on Instagram, the paparazzi began asking him about the viral story on Instagram and questioned Vaidya over calling them mad. He answered by saying:

"Paagal nahin bola, Joker bola. Aisa hai, main agar aapko screenshot dikhaaun na, jis tarah ki gaaliyan, mujhe, mere family, mere wife ko di hai. Toh maine kaha tha, the fans are bigger jokers than him."

(I didn't call them mad, called them joker. If I show you the screenshots, how fans have abused me, my family and my wife. So, I said the fans are bigger jokers than him).

When asked by the paparazzi, how can you call them a joker, the 37-year-old singer stated:

"Maine unko galat thodi kaha hai. Main toh sabse bada fan hoon cricket ka. Kahin na kahin unhone jo block kiya, uska jawaab toh mile."

(I didn't call Kohli a joker. I'm his big fan and I love cricket. But if he has blocked me, I expect an answer.)
