The aim of the ‘Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Abhiyan Yojana’ is to make young men and women aged between 21 and 40 years self-reliant and motivate them to start their own business. Deputy Commissioner of Industries Anil Kumar said that under this scheme, government assistance will be provided to the eligible beneficiaries so that they can establish self-employment and contribute to the economic progress of the society along with their families.

He said, “To make the application process easy and smooth under the scheme, a special camp is being organized at Canara Bank, Village Chithera, Greater Noida from 11 am on May 7. Youth willing to participate in the camp can apply for the scheme by appearing with their required documents. The required documents include Aadhar card, PAN card, educational qualification certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), copy of bank passbook and passport size photo.”

Explaining the special role of the scheme in promoting self-employment, he said, “This scheme can prove to be especially beneficial for those youth who are looking for employment but are unable to start their business due to lack of capital. This scheme will not only reduce the unemployment rate but will also create new opportunities for self-employment in rural and urban areas.”

He said, “By joining this initiative of the government, the youth can secure their future and play the role of a source of inspiration in the society. Interested candidates have been requested to reach the camp on time and avail the benefits of the scheme.”
