Kia Carens Clavis Unveiled in India: Features, ADAS, Engine Options & Booking Details

New Delhi — Kia India has officially launched the Carens Clavis, a bold new 3-row family vehicle that combines SUV-inspired design with MPV practicality. Positioned as a premium recreational vehicle, the Clavis is now available for bookings across India via Kia dealerships and the official website.

The Carens Clavis stands out with a futuristic design, led by Kia’s Digital Tiger Face, Ice Cube LED headlamps, and connected Starmap LED tail lamps. It rides on 17-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels and introduces a new Ivory Silver Gloss color, enhancing its dynamic road presence.

Inside, the Clavis is offered in 6- and 7-seater configurations with premium features like ventilated front seats, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 64-color ambient lighting, and a massive 26.62-inch dual panoramic display panel. Kia has also added segment-first conveniences like Boss Mode (walk-in lever), seat-mounted air purifier, and one-touch electric tumble seats for effortless third-row access.

Tech-savvy families will appreciate the Clavis’ ADAS Level 2 system with 20 autonomous features—best in its segment—including Forward Collision Avoidance, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Smart Cruise Control. Additionally, the vehicle packs 18 robust standard safety features such as six airbags, ESC, and Rear Occupant Alert.

Under the hood, the Clavis is powered by three engine options: a Smartstream G1.5 petrol, a 1.5L turbo GDi petrol (now available with a new 6-speed manual transmission), and a 1.5L diesel engine. Drive modes and paddle shifters are also available in automatic variants for a more personalized driving experience.

The Carens Clavis is offered in seven variants—HTE, HTE(O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+(O), HTX, and HTX+—and eight color options, including Imperial Blue, Gravity Grey, and Aurora Black Pearl.

With its blend of space, technology, and style, the Kia Carens Clavis is set to redefine family travel in India.
