Rainfall Alert: Warning of thunderstorm and rain for 3 consecutive days in Delhi-NCR, IMD issued yellow alert

The weather in Delhi is quite pleasant in the month of May. Due to strong winds, rain and clouds in the sky, people are getting relief from the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds in Delhi-NCR today.

Rainfall Alert: Last Wednesday, bright sunshine was seen in most parts of Delhi, but light and dense clouds kept moving throughout the day, due to which a drop in the maximum temperature was seen.

According to Delhi’s standard observatory Safdarjung, the maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 36.5 degrees Celsius, which was 2.8 degrees below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 24.8 degrees, which was 0.3 degrees below normal.

According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in Delhi from 8th to 10th, for which IMD has issued a yellow alert. These days, light rain can be seen along with strong winds.

From 8th to 10th May, the minimum temperature is likely to be between 23 to 27 degrees and the maximum temperature is likely to be between 36 to 38 degrees.

Talking about the weather from 11 to 13 May, the sky will remain cloudy these days, light drizzle can also be seen during this time. During this time the minimum temperature can be recorded at 29 degrees and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 38 degrees.
