BJD Hails Operation Sindoor, Reiterates Resolute Support to Armed Forces at All-Party Meeting

New Delhi: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has reiterated its resolute support to the nation’s armed forces during an all-party meeting held at the Parliament Library Building in New Delhi on Thursday.

The meeting, convened by the Central Government to discuss the recent military action “Operation Sindoor,” was represented by Dr. Sasmit Patra for the BJD.

In his address, the BJD MP conveyed the party’s gratitude to the government for organizing the critical meeting, emphasizing the BJD’s admiration for the armed forces’ role in the operation.

“On behalf of the Biju Janata Dal and our Honorable Party President, Shri Naveen Patnaik ji, we extend our sincere gratitude to the Government for convening this important all-party meeting,” he said.

“The Biju Janata Dal wholeheartedly commends the extraordinary courage, clinical precision, and gallant professionalism of our armed forces in carrying out Operation Sindoor”, Patra said.

The BJD saluted “every soldier, every officer, and every unit” involved, reaffirming its resolute backing for any measures necessary to protect India’s sovereignty and citizens from terrorism.

“The Biju Janata Dal reiterates its firm, steadfast and resolute support to our armed forces in taking whatever steps are deemed necessary to safeguard the sovereignty of the nation and protect the lives of Indian citizens from terrorism”, the BJD MP said at the all-party meeting.

The BJD’s stance underscores its commitment to national security, aligning with the broader sentiment of unity expressed by political leaders across party lines during the meeting.
