Sadar Bazar traders hold Tiranga March against terrorism

Hundreds of traders from Sadar Bazar took out a Tiranga march on Thursday to protest against Pakistan and express solidarity with the Indian Army following Operation Sindoor, a military strike targeting nine terrorist bases across the border.

Led by Paramjit Singh Pamma, Chairman of the Federation of Sadar Bazar Trades Association, and its president Rakesh Yadav, the march began from Qutub Road Chowk and culminated in a sit-in demonstration against Pakistan. Traders carrying the National Flag raised slogans such as “Pakistan Murdabad”, “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”, and “Indian Army Zindabad”, calling for Pakistan to be declared a terrorist nation.

The protest was held in response to the killing of innocents in Jammu and Kashmir and the recent attack on a Gurdwara in the Punj region, where Granthis were reportedly targeted. Pamma and Yadav condemned the incident, calling it a “shameful act” and said it had triggered nationwide outrage.

“The way India destroyed nine terror camps under Operation Sindoor proves that such bases are still active in Pakistan. It is time the UN declared Pakistan a terrorist state,” said Pamma.

Yadav added that the Central Government had shown strong resolve in tackling terrorism and deserved full support from the public. The protest saw participation from people of all communities and a large number of traders, gradually forming a convoy that chanted slogans and demanded global action against Pakistan’s terror support.
