IndiaPost launches mail product ‘Gyan Post’

In an inspiring move to boost the flow of knowledge and culture across India, India Post has launched a new service called ‘Gyan Post.’

The initiative is aimed at making the transmission of educational, cultural, social, and religious materials easier and more affordable for people across the country.

Effective from May 1, 2025, the ‘Gyan Post’ service is now available in Ludhiana.

The service will have prices ranging from INR 20 to INR 100, for packages ranging from 300 grams up to 5kg.

Under Gyan Post, printed materials that are “prescribed in syllabus for correspondence and regular courses for students” by State and Union government education boards or universities will be permitted to be carried through Gyan Post.
