WATCH: BSF Foils Infiltration Bid In J&K's Samba; 7 Infiltrators Neutralised

Samba: The Border Security Force (BSF) foiled an infiltration bid on the intervening night of May 8 and 9 in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district. At least seven terrorists were neutralised by the BSF. Pakistan Post Dhandhar was also damaged.

The paramilitary force also released also shared a thermal imager clip of the destruction of the said post. This infiltration bid was supported by fire from Pakistan Rangers post Dhandhar, a BSF spokesperson said as reported by PTI.

He said the troops neutralised the infiltration bid, killing at least seven terrorists and caused extensive damage to the Dhandhar post.

The force is on high alert in the wake of the current hostilities between the two countries following the Pahalgam terrorist attack of April 22 and India's strike on terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in retaliation.

Notably, on Thursday night, Pakistan carried out a failed attempt to target border towns in Jammu, including Samba and Akhnoor.

However, India destroyed all the missiles and drones fired by Pakistan.
