University Of Southampton Delhi Partners With Cambridge To Offer INR 2.2 Lakh Scholarships

The University of Southampton Delhi has announced a partnership with the International Education group at Cambridge University Press & Assessment, the largest provider of international education in the world and the organisation behind qualifications such as the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Levels. The programme is intended to benefit 810 Cambridge-associated schools in India.

As part of the alliance, Southampton Delhi has launched the Cambridge Scholarship Awards, providing a maximum of four competitive scholarships for Cambridge A-Level graduates who apply for the August 2025 intake.

The scholarship will grant INR 220,000 as tuition fee for the academic year 2025–2026. Apart from that, the university is also exempting application fees for all Cambridge students who apply between 1st and 31st May 2025.

Dr. Vishal Talwar, Chief Operating Officer, University of Southampton Delhi, pointed out the common vision that prompted the alliance. We are eagerly anticipating this alliance because it brings together the best of two worlds – the excellence in learning of University of Southampton Delhi and the scholarly prowess and global perspective of Cambridge," he further said.

Besides scholarships and fee remissions, Cambridge applicants will also enjoy a priority review of their applications, with a special evaluation team providing a quicker and smoother admissions process.

Vinay Sharma, Cambridge Senior Vice President for International Education, South Asia, emphasised the advantages of the partnership. "Cambridge qualifications are recognised by universities worldwide for their academic rigour and outstanding preparation for university-level studies, enabling students from various backgrounds to thrive in a range of learning contexts," Sharma said.

Cambridge is ensuring that our students are ready for the world and creating new opportunities for international study.

Candidates for the Cambridge Scholarship Awards will be evaluated by the University's Scholarship Committee based on their academic standing and exceptional A-Level performance.
