BSF foils infiltration bid, neutralise 7 terrorists along International Border
The BSF shared a thermal imager clip of the destruction of a Pakistan Rangers post
The Border Security Force (BSF) neutralised seven terrorists who were trying to infiltrate from across the India-Pakistan International Border in Jammu.
The incident took place in the Samba sector on the intervening night of May 8-9 after a "big group" of terrorists was detected by the surveillance grid, the BSF said.
Pakistan Rangers aided the infiltration bid by offering covering fire.
According to BSF, a Pakistan Rangers post in Dhandhar suffered extensive damage in the retaliatory firing. The BSF shared a thermal imager clip of the destruction of the said post.

This is the latest in a series of infiltration bids being attempted by the neighbouring nation.
The BSF has been on high alert in the wake of the escalating hostilities between the two countries following the Pahalgam terrorist attack of April 22 and India's strike on terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in retaliation.
The infiltration bid came on a day when India neutralised Pakistan military's attempt to hit military stations in Jammu, Pathankot, Udhampur and some other locations with missiles and drones as tensions soared between the two countries amid fears of a wider military conflict.
On Thursday night, Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to chiefs of the country's border guarding forces, including the BSF, and took stock of the situation along the international borders.
