'Bache Itni Mehnat Agar...': Virat Kohli's Brother Vikas Roasts Rahul Vaidya Over 'Joker' Remark

Singer Rahul Vaidya has found himself in the middle of a heated controversy after taking a dig at star cricketer Virat Kohli and his fanbase. What started as a seemingly sarcastic jab has now escalated, prompting a sharp reaction from Virat’s elder brother, Vikas Kohli.

Vikas took to Threads to defend his brother and criticized Rahul for using Virat’s name to gain attention. In a strongly worded post, Vikas wrote, “Bache itni mehnat agar apni singing pai karle to shayad apni mehnat se famous ho jaae… While the whole nation is focused on the current situation... this idiot is on a mission to gain followers and become famous taking Virat's name....WHAT A LOSER.”

The backlash follows a video posted by Rahul in which he claimed that Virat had blocked him on Instagram. In the video, he mocked the cricketer and his fanbase, calling Kohli’s fans “bigger jokers than him.”

Virat Kohli-Rahul Vaidya row

The drama seems to have stemmed from a recent incident where Virat Kohli liked a photo on a fan page of actress Avneet Kaur. As speculations swirled online, Virat issued a clarification via Instagram Stories, stating: “While clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction... I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made.”

Rahul, seemingly taking a swipe at Virat’s explanation, posted a sarcastic story saying, “Main kehna chahta hoon ki aaj ke baad aisa ho sakta hai ki algorithm bohot saare photos like karde jo maine nahi kare...” hinting that he too would blame Instagram if similar incidents occurred.

Recently a video shared by Filmygyan on Instagram, the paparazzi began asking him about the viral story on Instagram and questioned Vaidya over calling them mad. He answered by saying:

"Paagal nahin bola, Joker bola. Aisa hai, main agar aapko screenshot dikhaaun na, jis tarah ki gaaliyan, mujhe, mere family, mere wife ko di hai. Toh maine kaha tha, the fans are bigger jokers than him."
