Suchita Bhikane appointed Executive Director (HR) of MSETCL

Additional Collector Suchita Bhikane has been appointed as Executive Director (HR) of Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd (MSETCL). Bhikane was earlier working as deputy commissioner (Land Acquisition) in Konkan Bhavan.

Bhikane has done her graduation from Agricultural College, Pune and post-graduation from Konkan Agricultural University, Dapoli. She has also obtained a law degree (LLB). Thereafter, in 2010, she joined the government service directly as Deputy Collector through Maharashtra Public Service Commission examination. She has worked as a Deputy Collector in the Employment Guarantee Scheme in Sangli for four years. She has worked as Deputy Collector (Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation) in Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority for four and a half years. She has also worked as Managing Director in Annasaheb Patil Arthik Magas Vikas Mahamandal. She also has experience of working as Sub Divisional Officer in Patan of Satara district.

She also has rich experience of working as returning officer and assistant returning officer in Lok Sabha and Vidhansabha. She has made major contributions to the Employment Guarantee Scheme, Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyan and Shatakoti tree plantation in Sangli. She has been awarded the best Deputy Collector Award for her work.
