Pakistan Deployed Turkish Drones, Used Civilian Planes As Shields: MEA
The Indian Armed Forces repelled a large-scale Pakistani drone offensive targeting military installations across the western border, according to Colonel Sofiya Qureshi during a press conference held by MEA Secretary Vikram Misri. "On the intervening night of May 8 and May 9, Pakistani army tried to attack military installations on the western borders. From Leh to Sir Creek, Pakistani army used drones for infiltration," Colonel Qureshi stated.
The coordinated attack involved between 300 to 400 drones targeting 36 different locations along India's western frontier. She said that Pakistan used Turkish drones to attack India.
Colonel Qureshi confirmed that all Pakistani attacks were successfully neutralized by Indian defense forces.
