Indian Air Force Wing Commander Vyomika Singh said India launched precision strikes targeting critical military infrastructure in Pakistan during the early hours of Saturday. Saying the armed forces are in high state of operational readiness, Singh reiterated that the Indian armed forces are committed to non-escalation, "provided the Pakistan side reciprocates."

Addressing a media briefing regarding recent developments of Operation Sindoor, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh said India launched precision strikes targeting critical infrastructure, radar sites and weapon storage areas during the early hours of Saturday. Singh added Pakistan military targets at various places, including Rafiqui, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Yar Khan and Sukkur were engaged using air-borne precision weapons launched from Indian fighter aircraft. Singh added the strikes were carried out ensuring minimum collateral damage.

Wing Commander Vyomika Singh added that there were limited damages to equipment and personnel in Udhampur, Pathankot, Adampur and Bhuj. However, she debunked Pakistan's claims of damaging critical infrastructure, including S-400 systems 'completely false'. She also showed time-stamped pictures of Air Force bases claimed to be critically damaged by Pakistan.

Addressing the briefing, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi said, "Pakistan targeted hospitals and school premises at air bases at Srinagar, Awantipur and Udhampur. This once again revealed their irresponsible tendency of attacking civil infrastructure." She added Pakistan used high-speed missiles at 1.40am to target Punjab's air base.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said Pakistani actions have constituted provocations and escalations. "In response, India has defended and reacted in a responsible and measured fashion to these provocations and escalations by the Pakistani side," Misri stressed. Misri added that a repeat of this provocative pattern was seen on Saturday morning. The foreign secretary added Pakistan's attempts to sow discord among Indian communities will fail.
