Jodhpur News: Amid the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the Phalodi district administration and police have enforced a slew of safety protocols and maintained strict vigilance. In light of the current situation, District Collector H.L. Atal appealed to the public to contribute during this time by adhering to the guidelines and instructions issued by the administration and police, including those related to the blackout.
The DM has requested everyone not to panic and to actively cooperate by keeping their establishments, shops, etc., closed from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM under all circumstances. He also urged people to raise awareness among others to keep their lights turned off during this period. According to the order issued by the DM, during this time, mobile flashlights, street lights, high-mast lights, lights installed on NHAI and state highways, lights at toll plazas, and even car headlights must be turned off so that no light is visible from the ground and the location cannot be traced.
The authorities have asked the people not to pay attention or contribute to any kind of rumors. In case of any emergency, suspicious activity, or important information, immediately contact the District Administration Control Room or the Police Control Room.
