Couple injured in drone attack shifted to Ludhiana hospital
A woman and her husband, who had suffered severe burns in a drone attack in Ferozepur last night, were shifted to Ludhiana’s Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).
Their son was also injured in the incident and currently undergoing treatment at a Ferozepur hospital.
The woman, identified as Sukhwinder Kaur, suffered 100 per cent burns while her husband Lakhwinder Singh sustained 70 per cent burns.
A relative of the victims said they were having dinner in the veranda of their house when a part of a drone fell on the car parked near them at Khai Pheme Ki village.
“All three sustained burns. While their son is still admitted to a Ferozepur hospital, the couple has been shifted to the Ludhiana hospital. The condition of Sukhwinder is critical,” he said.
Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora visited the hospital and enquired about the victims’ condition.
