Punjab to release extra water to Rajasthan for 'military needs in national interest'

The Punjab government has agreed to release additional water to Rajasthan to meet the needs of military personnel stationed in the desert region. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stated that the Rajasthan government requested the extra water from Punjab's share to support the military presence along the border.
