When were the CBSE board exams held this year?

How was the CBSE board result last year?

Let us tell you that in 2024, the CBSE board declared the result of class 10th and 12th on 13th May. A total of 22.39 lakh students appeared in the class 10th examination last year. About 93.6% (20.95 lakh students) who appeared in the examination passed the examination, which saw a marginal increase of 0.48% in the pass percentage compared to 2023. Girls performed better and the pass percentage of girls was about 2% higher than that of boys.

Last year, around 2.12 lakh students had scored above 90% marks in Class 10, while 47,983 students had scored above 95%, which is higher than the figure of 44,297 in 2023. Among schools, both Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) and Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) recorded a pass percentage of 99.09%, while other government institutions achieved a pass percentage of 86.72%, and independent institutions recorded 94.54%.

On the other hand, in Class 12, a total of 16.21 lakh students appeared for the exam last year and 87.98% of them passed. CBSE data shows that a total of 1.16 lakh students scored above 90% marks, and 24,068 students scored above 95%.
