There are a bunch of Bollywood movies which are highly anticipated in 2025, and among them is Hrithik Roshan’s War 2. The action-thriller featuring two powerhouses – Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR – in lead roles is set to hit the big screens on August 14, 2025, just a day ahead of the 78th Independence Day, setting the mood right for all the action lovers. As per a report by 123Telugu, Hrithik and Jr NTR’s movie has got a great deal for the Telugu version. Tollywood producers Naga Vamsi and Suniel Narang have joined the race to buy the Telugu rights of War 2. Reports claim that the biggest reason for the movie’s Telugu rights to be sold at a hefty price is the presence of Jr NTR in the film.

According to media reports, War 2 has sold the Telugu rights of the film for Rs 85 to Rs 100 crore. While Hrithik Roshan is returning as Kabir in the film, Junior NTR is going to be seen as the antagonist in the movie. Meanwhile, the leading lady in the movie will be Kiara Advani.

Coming to Hrithik Roshan’s work front, he was last seen in the action-thriller Fighter alongside Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. The movie was released in 2024 and after a year, the actor is making a comeback with War 2.

Apart from that, Roshan also has Krrish 4 in his kitty, where he will be directing and acting in the movie. Krrish 4 marks Hrithik Roshan’s directorial debut. The movie will also feature Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh in cameo roles.
