Lost Apollo Sanctuary unearthed in Cyprus after 140 years

In Cyprus, a long-lost sanctuary dedicated to the Greek god Apollo has been rediscovered after 140 years. The sanctuary, located in Tamassos, was once a significant center of worship. Excavations led by Universities of Cyprus and Münster uncovered marble statues of Apollo and a female deity, along with architectural fragments.
