Justice Dixit Krishna Shripad Sworn In as Orissa High Court Judge

Cuttack: Justice Dixit Krishna Shripad was sworn in as a judge of the Orissa High Court on Monday.

Chief Justice Harish Tandon administered the oath to Justice Shripad during a ceremony held at 10 am on the court premises.

Justice Shripad was previously a Permanent Judge of the Karnataka High Court since January 7, 2020, and served as Additional Solicitor General for the same court.

His transfer was recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium, led by Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna, and approved by the Central Government on May 2.

With his joining, the total number of judges in the Orissa High Court is now 19.
