CBSE Class 12th Result 2025: Vijayawada Tops With 99.60% Pass Rate; Check Region Wise Results
CBSE 12th Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the CBSE 12th Result 2025. Here, candidates can check the region-wise results and top-performing areas. Candidates can check their CBSE result 2025 at cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in.
In the CBSE Class 12 Board Examinations 2025, the Vijayawada region led the results with the highest pass percentage of 99.60%, followed by Trivandrum at 99.32% and Chennai at 97.39%. Other top-performing regions included Bengaluru (95.95%), Delhi West (95.37%), and Delhi East (95.06%). Regions such as Chandigarh (91.61%), Panchkula (91.17%), Pune (90.93%), and Ajmer (90.40%) also demonstrated solid performance.
In the mid-performance range were Bhubaneswar (83.64%), Guwahati (83.62%), Dehradun (83.45%), Patna (82.86%), and Bhopal (82.46%), all showing consistent results. On the lower end, Noida recorded a pass percentage of 81.29%, while Prayagraj registered the lowest pass percentage among all regions at 79.53%.
The CBSE marksheet will reflect major academic details like subject-wise marks, internal assessment marks, the overall percentage, the result status of the student (Pass, Compartment, or Fail), as well as school details and the examination year.
CBSE 9-Point Grading System (2025):
A1 (91–100 marks) – Outstanding
A2 (81–90 marks) – Excellent
B1 (71–80 marks) – Very Good
B2 (61–70 marks) – Good
C1 (51–60 marks) – Fair
C2 (41–50 marks) – Satisfactory
D1 (33–40 marks) – Marginal
D2 (21–32 marks) – Needs Improvement
E1/E2 (Below 33 marks) – Fail
For Class 12 students, they have to achieve at least 33 percent individually in each theory and practical subject in order to qualify as having passed.
In 2025, about 17.88 lakh students had written the CBSE Class 12 exams and about 24.12 lakh students had written the Class 10 exams.
After the announcement of CBSE board results, the board declares the window period for rechecking and revaluation of answer sheets. This service is provided to students who feel that there could have been mistakes in mark computation or they are unsure of the evaluation of their responses. The CBSE will announce notifications and application forms for rechecking and revaluation after the Class 10 and Class 12 results are formally announced.
Upon declaration of results, students will be awarded some crucial certificates by their respective institutions. They are the Marksheet, Passing Certificate, and Migration Certificate.
