Weather Update: These days, a change in weather is being seen in Madhya Pradesh, and the reason for this is three active weather systems, Western Disturbance, Turf and Cyclonic Circulation.

The weather department has issued an alert for thunderstorm and rain in 38 districts of 7 divisions of the state. These include Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Ujjain, Sheopur, Morena, Datia, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Vidisha, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Sehore, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Dewas, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Khargone, Agar-Malwa, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Barwani, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Sagar, Damoh, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni and Pandhurna.

Heat will increase in northern Madhya Pradesh

According to the Meteorological Department, the period of thunderstorms and rain will continue in many parts of the state till May 16. However, in the districts where these systems will not be active, the heat may increase. Especially in the northern areas like Gwalior and Chambal, the effect of thunderstorms and rain as well as heat will continue.

Reason for change in weather

Regarding the change in weather, senior meteorologist Dr. Divya E. Surendran said that this change in weather is being seen due to the three weather systems currently active in the state. Due to these, light rain and thundershowers will continue in the state. However, the effect of heat may increase again after May 16.

  • 15 May: On 15 May, Thursday, there will be more changes in the weather in Barwani, Khargone, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Betul, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, Harda, Dewas, Sehore, Indore, Ujjain, Ratlam, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Agar-Malwa, Dhar, Shajapur, Rajgarh, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Mandla and Balaghat. There will be a possibility of strong storm, clouds and rain in these districts.
  • 16 May: On 16 May, Friday, weather changes can be seen in many areas of the state. Warning of thunderstorm and rain has been issued in Narsinghpur, Damoh, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Chhatarpur, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Dewas, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Harda, Sehore, Vidisha, Bhopal, Ujjain, Agar-Malwa, Guna, Ashoknagar, Sagar, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Betul, Pandhurna, Chhindwara, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Gwalior, Bhind, Morena.
