MP Minister Vijay Shah summoned by state BJP over controversial remarks on Col Sofiya Qureshi

Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah on Tuesday (May 13) apologised for making an objectionable remark against female Army Officer Colonel Sofiya Qureshi. Shah expressed regret, stating, "I am not a God; I'm too human, and I apologise ten times. After the controversial statement of the minister, the BJP summoned him, and later, leaders visited Sofiya Qureshi's residence in MP's Chhatarpur with a message from BJP State President VD Sharma. Former MLA Manvendra Singh, along with other BJP leaders, visited Qureshi’s home and met with her family members. Sharma said, "Sofiya Qureshi is the daughter of the nation."
