J&K Govt Amends Prison Manual To Define Habitual Offenders, Ban Caste Bias in Jails

SRINAGAR, May 13: The Jammu and Kashmir Home Department has amended the Prison Manual, 2022, introducing a revised definition of “habitual offender” and a new clause to ban caste-based discrimination in prisons.
