As Turkey faces boycott calls from netizens in India, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has voiced support for Pakistan, saying Ankara will continue to support the "brotherly people of Pakistan" in good and bad times. While Erdogan welcomed the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, he openly extended Turkey's backing to Islamabad, with Turkish media quoting him as saying, "While openly declaring our support for the brotherly people of Pakistan, we also made intense efforts to de-escalate the tension, which had risen to very dangerous levels." He also reiterated Turkey's "friendly warning" to Pakistan, advising it not to resort to any provocations in the coming times.
