A Day After PM Modi's Adampur Air Force Station Visit, Pak PM Shehbaz Sharif Tours Pasrur Cantonment In Sialkot
Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by his cabinet members, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, and Pakistan Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, visited Pasrur Cantonment in Sialkot on Wednesday.
During his visit, the Pakistani Prime Minister reportedly hailed the Armed Forces' decisive response to India's attack as historic.
Notably, India, through precision strikes, destroyed the Pasrur Air Defence Radar following the Pakistani attack. A radar was damaged by the Indian side during the retaliatory action after the Pakistani attack. India released a picture of the damaged Pasrur radar two days ago.
This comes a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a surprise visit to the Adampur Air Force Station near Jalandhar, Punjab on Tuesday.
Modi interacted with Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel and senior officials, commending their bravery and professionalism in repelling recent Pakistani retaliatory strikes.
A photo of PM Modi waving to air force personnel with an MiG-29 and a fully intact S-400 system in the backdrop has now become a powerful counter to Islamabad’s disinformation campaign.
Last week, amid escalating tensions following Operation Sindoor, Pakistan claimed its JF-17 fighter jets had struck the Adampur airbase, damaging India's advanced Russian-made S-400 system. It even circulated alleged satellite imagery to support this claim. However, the images showed no signs of actual damage—no blast marks, no structural debris, and no disruption of the airbase’s layout.
