The interesting thing is that even then the film did a tremendous feat. 8.8 crore tickets of the film were sold in China. In that era, no foreign film could get such a response in China. Therefore, it was considered a record. The total footfall of the film in China reached thirty crores. This record is equal to one-seventh of Caravan’s earnings and ticket sales. RRR earned around $20 million in the US and Japan combined. But the total footfall was only 30 lakhs. Pushpa 2, which is considered to be the biggest Indian film of recent years, sold 6 crore tickets in India and around 1 crore tickets overseas. But even these numbers are nothing in front of the Caravan.
