These plans have been launched after the instructions of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) in which all telecom companies were asked to provide recharges with cheap calls and SMS.

First plan – Rs 458

In this plan, customers get a validity of 84 days. Unlimited voice calling and 1000 free SMS are being given in this. Along with this, users will also get free access to video apps like JioCinema and Jio TV. This plan will be very useful for those who only like to make calls and send SMS and do not need data. Apart from this, this plan also includes the facility of free national roaming on any network in India. The cost of this plan is Rs 5 per day.

Second plan – Rs 1958

This plan comes with a validity of one year i.e. full 365 days. It also has the facility of unlimited voice calling, as well as 3600 free SMS. In this plan also, users have been given free facility of JioCinema and Jio TV. This plan will be very beneficial for those who do not want to recharge again and again. In this, the tension of calling and messaging ends for the whole year. The cost of this plan is Rs 5 per day and the cost of one month is Rs 155.

Old plans discontinued

Along with these new plans, Jio has discontinued its two old plans of Rs 479 and Rs 1899. The Rs 479 plan used to give 6GB data with a validity of 84 days, while the Rs 1899 plan offered 24GB data for 336 days.
