Mahadangal: Bihar-Delhi Sleeper Bus Catches Fire in Lucknow, 5 Including 2 Children Charred to Death | ABP NEWS

A tragic incident occurred in Lucknow early this morning when a sleeper bus traveling from Bihar to Delhi caught fire on Kisan Path near Mohanlalganj. The private double-decker bus was carrying around 60 passengers when it suddenly turned into a fireball. Five people, including two children, two women, and one man, were burned alive, while others managed to escape by jumping from the vehicle. Initial reports suggest that the rear exit was possibly locked, preventing some passengers from escaping. The fire department was alerted immediately, and it took over an hour for half a dozen fire tenders to douse the flames. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognizance of the incident and instructed officials to ensure prompt relief and rescue operations. Injured passengers were rushed to PGI Hospital. An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the fire. The Chief Minister has expressed condolences to the families of the deceased.
